It involves preparing an application, compiling required documentation (Statement of Purpose, Policies, Governance Documentation), ensuring premises and governance structure meet regulatory standards, submitting the provider and/or registered manager application, and preparing for the CQC site visit, interview and assessment under the Single Assessment Framework (SAF).
